Day 4 of the Whole30

Good afternoon cupcakes!

This morning I completed these workout videos at 5:30 am before my morning class:
Swimsuit Slimdown
New Ab Moves
Madonna's Arms
Upper Body Fat Burning Circuit

Today was focused on arms!

Here is my food log for today.

Breakfast was not photographed but consisted of a banana, 2 boiled eggs, and a handful of almonds and raisins.

Lunch was a grilled lean turkey burger and this sweet potato side dish I prepped.

Dinner is spaghetti squash, tomatoes, avocados, and another lean grilled turkey burger.

My snacks consist of: berries, a small banana/ almond crumble mix I posted about yesterday.

So far, I am really enjoying the Whole30. I feel better and don't feel as stress. I feel like I have more energy and less stomach aches. The hardest part for me so far has been not chewing gum. I LOVE love love gum. I have also been reaching my daily step goal which feels so rewarding. My fitbit is awesome!

My tips for success on the Whole30:
- Have someone do the Whole30 with you to keep you motivated or you could find a way to keep yourself accountable. For example, I have a close friend and her family who are currently doing the Whole30. I also chose to blog my journey so others could follow along. This also helps keep me accountable.
-Tell yourself that you can and you will finish the Whole30. If you don't believe in yourself, you won't succeed. I tell myself daily that 30 days is nothing and that I will reach my goal.
-Prep and plan ahead! This is going to set you up for success. If you know what you are grocery shopping for and what meals you are going to make for the week ahead, it will be so much easier to stick to the rules. I grocery shop and meal prep one afternoon during the weekend. Then, when my crazy graduate school week rolls around I am totally prepared and don't have to put a lot of thought into what I will bring to campus with me.
-Invest in a cooler/lunch box. I bought a huge lunch box on Amazon for 10 dollars and I can fit a whole days worth of food in it plus my huge water bottle.

Also, how cute is my minion puppet I made today in Play Therapy class? I finished him later by adding his other part of his overalls, adding hands/gloves, and adding feet/shoes.

That's all I have for you today! Any questions for me to answer?

Later Taters!
