Pregnancy- favorite products, workouts, foods

Hi friends,

It has been quite a while since I have made a post on here (almost a full year). Life has been crazy! I am currently pregnant and this pregnancy has been flying by. I thought it would be helpful to share some of my favorite things during this pregnancy.

Workouts 

Sydney Cummings Youtube workouts- free
-keep in mind that you will have to modify some exercises as you get into your 2nd-3rd trimester, especially some of her ab moves.

Popsugar Fitness Boxing & Kickboxing workouts- free
-These are some of my favorite workouts ever, they are fun & upbeat.

Move Your Bump Exercise App- $29.99 per month
- I started using this in trimester 3 of my pregnancy and I love that the workouts are safe and laid out for each trimester

I have also been taking a walk each day. Morning walks are my favorite because they help stretch out my body after sleeping all night.

Physical Health 

Spinning Babies- the forward inversions have been super helpful and really help with round ligament pain. I started doing the inversion around the mid second trimester & plan to continue to do an inversion each day until labor.

Helpful videos/resources

Built to Birth Youtube channel- Bridget Teyler- This woman is a doula and has a bunch of helpful pregnancy, labor, postpartum videos.

Mama Natural- I bought this lady's book that is a week by week guide to pregnancy and it was super helpful. The book is very informative and I loved reading along week by week. She also has some fun recipes to try.

Anchor Health Chiropractic- I went to see Dr. Mitch every other week, transitioning to once a week once pregnancy was further along. Eventually I will go twice a week.

Indy Massage Company- prenatal massage, I got my first prenatal massage in my third trimester

Other recommendations 
1. make a postpartum kit for each bathroom including things like pads different sizes, peri bottle, pain relief spray, stool softeners, etc.
2. make diaper baskets & nursing baskets to keep in the living room & mom/dad's bedroom so you don't always have to go to the nursery- include things such as diaper cream, extra clothes, diapers, wipes, burp cloths, pacifiers, water bottle for mom, snacks, nipple cream, nipple pads, etc.
3. pack your hospital bag & install car seat early to ensure you are ready to go for the big day
4. check pinterest for all the lists for hospital bags, postpartum kits, diaper bag checklist.
5. prep freezer meals ahead of time: things such as frozen breakfast sammies or burritos work really well.
6. stock up on household essentials and groceries prior to going into labor- Costco run!
