About

Hello cupcakes!

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself...

I'm from a small town in Indiana. Just a few of the things I love: cooking, baking, hiking, camping, exercising, crafting & helping others. I am a neat freak! I love for things to be clean... and yes my closet is arranged by color. I am going to graduate school for clinical mental health counseling and will graduate with a master's degree after summer 2016. I completed my undergraduate degree at Purdue University... Boiler UP! This is my boyfriend and I on the day of my graduation.

I am also very close with my family. I have two younger sisters and if you get us all together we are pretty goofy! I wouldn't want to grow up with anyone else!

Two of my favorite animals ever: my horse named Trigger and Jessie my family's Rottweiler. Trigger has been my main man since 7th grade and Jessie is a sweet girl who loves attention. I cannot wait to get a dog of my own to take hiking with me!

I will be moving to San Diego, CA at the end of July 2016. I cannot wait to go hiking out there! I feel like my personality and goals in life match up well with California life. If any of you are from Cali, let me know of some awesome places to check out.

I started this blog with the hope of helping others live healthier and happier lives. I hope to inspire others to get in the kitchen to make some healthy meals and to give people ideas for workouts. I know how busy and crazy life can get, so I want to try to make living a healthy lifestyle a little easier for you! I post healthy recipes, meal plans, workouts, my thoughts, and things about my life.

I will also have a home gym some day! I already have 3 sets of dumbbells, a kettlebell, a jump rope, and a yoga mat. I'm on my way at least!

Well there is a little snap shot into my life and the idea behind The Sweet Life: Diary of a Health Nut. I hope you enjoy the blog, and let me know if there is anything you would like me to post about. I love hearing from my readers!

Later Taters xoxo
