I wanted to share a day in the life of Tori with you. I think this will be a fun way for you to get to know me more personally. Let me walk you hour through hour of my Monday routine this semester.
5am- Alarm went off
5:15am- Got out of bed & drank one glass of water (this helps you wake up and gets your digestive system flowin'... if you know what I mean)
5:30am- Pre-workout food: 1/4 c steel cut oats mixed with 2 T pumpkin, unsweetened almond milk, chia seeds, and 1/3 sliced banana.
6am- Did BBG week 2 legs. If you do not know what BBG is, it stands for Bikini Body Guide. You can learn more about it here: BBG
7am- Checked emails, checked social media, drank coffee, and ate 1/2 homemade Larabar
7:30- Showered & got ready for work
8:30- Drove to work, parked, and walked to my building
9am- Arrived at work (work is my graduate assistanship or GA. I manage the Sciences and Humanities Desk at the Learning Center)
11am- Ate lunch. Lunch consisted of lean ground turkey, ground deer burger, cooked carrots, oven roasted potatoes, and topped with Dijon mustard.
That Tupperware life! Sorry... not the prettiest photo.
11:30am- Worked on blog posts & blog inquiries while at work
2pm- Class from 2- 4:40pm. During this time, I ate a snack consisting of grapes and homemade deer jerky (sorry I don't have a picture of this one)
5pm- Arrived back at my work (My GA). I ate my dinner consisting of: lean ground turkey, ground deer burger, cooked carrots, oven roasted potatoes, and topped with Dijon mustard. While I am at work, I work on school work when the desk is not busy.
8pm- Left work and drove back to my apartment. I ate my Paleo waffle as a snack while watching Gotham on Fox. Sorry for another not so pretty picture! Life of a busy grad student.
9pm- Brushed my teeth, washed my face, and got into bed. zzzzz
There you have it! A complete day for me.
I hope you enjoyed this. Let me know if you would like me to do more "Days in the Life of Tori" posts.
